Review: Into the Wild (2007) can be reviewed by 2 kinds of viewers… The ones who lived it, and the ones who haven’t felt it… I was both… First time I saw this movie I said: ” What a joke, it is embarrassing and silly”. The second time I saw it: ” Beautiful… ” You see this movie is not for everyone and not at every moment of our life… This is probably the best self-discovery, survival movie there is out there! Sean Penn took a good book and made it a gem on our screens. Writing and directing speaking… This is a movie about you, it’s and every one of you. It aims directly to your brain, to your soul. You have to go back to the start and figure out things… You have to realize what you are and what you’re not. The script speaks to you. Car, fancy dinners, huge houses are not everything… The cast gives you an example with their dialogues. Which one of them would you rather be until the end? The ones with the expensive phones and big unimportant houses or the ones that walk in nature, make friends, have meaningful conversations, enjoy the outside rather than the inside? There is a reason that a ”hard” movie like this is #219 top-rated. To understand how powerful it is keep in mind that On June 19th, 2020, the “magic bus” Chris McCandles lived in for 114 days in the middle of an Alaskan forest has been airlifted out due to public safety concerns. This is because a number of people have tried to hike out to the bus and needed to either be rescued or simply did not survive.
