Review: Grave Of The Fireflies (1988) is a hidden gem and it is a must-see movie at any point in your life. Despite not having any major wins or nominations, this movie is so highly rated on the internet database. At the very beginning of the movie, the two siblings have to make it on their own. Despite all the misfortunes and the destruction of their city and environment, Seita (young boy) never gave up on him or his little sister. During so much pain and poverty, Seita, nothing but a young boy, shows the meaning of being brave and being caring. But mostly, he shows what it is like to truly love someone. Movies like this, undoubtedly, make you have a closer look of a war and the impact on normal people. In the end, It will probably make you reconsider many things. It will definitely make you cry at the end.
