Review: Before Sunrise (1995), the first movie of the trilogy, is the definition of the word original! Hollywood doesn’t make scripts like this anymore… You can’t find that romantic simplicity, that charming experience in other romantic movies. Ethan Hawke and Julie Delpy gave us a real-life romantic documentary with real conversations, moments of connection, youth and love. It doesn’t need to be that complicated and it kinda makes you wonder how do you seize your life, your moments… how do you face your daily actions. It is on the #190 top-rated movies for a reason and I believe it’s because it speaks to the viewer’s mind and heart at the same time. I call it a crime that it didn’t win a serious award for the motion picture.
I am a lifetime movie addict and cinema is my passion. I’ve been a movie writer for 8 years. My goal is to teach people how to watch movies and how to appreciate them instead of hating them. Some gems are hidden out there but I’m here to show you them all!
